  6. Luego agrega agua hirviendo pasando la mitad. Las menestras necesitan abundante agua para cocinar. Deja cocinar por 40 a 45 minutos. Recuerda siempre mirar para que no se consuma todo el agua y no se te queme.
  7. Una vez pasado el tiempo verás que las lentejas reventaron un poco y se hizo un poco mazamorrita. Entonces es tiempo de echar sal al gusto. Deja cocinar unos 5 minutos más y listo!
